Yard Debris Pickup

Please call the Dale Borough Business Office about yard debris pickup.  As a courtesy, the Dale Borough Road/Maintenance Crew will pickup yard debris on the second and last Tuesday of each month.  During the Winter months, ONLY Christmas Trees will be picked up.  Also, the day for pick up could change depending on their schedule.  

Acceptable Items for Yard Debris Pickup

• Dirt
• Stones and bricks
• Concrete and concrete blocks
• Cement, if it has hardened in the bag (Please remove the paper)
• Tree branches or limbs/brush/shrub clippings should be cut into 4 feet sections or smaller.
• Leaves and cut grass

Unacceptable Items for Yard Debris Pickup

• Lumber from remodeling or renovations
• Pressure treated lumber
• Painted blocks
• Lumber with nails in it

If you have debris in bags,  please leave the bags open for inspection.  There can not be any household garbage in the bags or it will not be picked up.  All brush/tree branches/limbs must be cut into 4 feet sections or smaller then bundled or bagged.  All debris (bagged or not) has to be placed curbside.  Thank you.
